The Shoe Collection

Introducing “Shoe Collection” – a series of miniature porcelain sculptures inspired by the hand-painted figurines made by my late Nanna Joy. These works explore the line between art and craft, questioning what belongs to the realm of hobby and what is elevated as fine art. Each shoe is meticulously handmade and paired with a handwritten poem that brings out its personality, creating an intimate dialogue between object and story. This collection is both a homage to tradition and a celebration of creativity, inviting viewers to embrace the beauty of nostalgia and the value of what is lovingly made by hand.
